Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: November 3, 2025Governing Law: Commonwealth of VirginiaThese Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Office Hours™ program and related services (the “Program”). By clicking “Pay,” “Subscribe,” or otherwise enrolling, you agree to these Terms.1. Program; Educational-Only Disclaimer. The Program provides live, group, educational sessions (“Office Hours”) facilitated by licensed attorneys who provide general legal information. No personalized legal advice, no attorney–client relationship, no document review, and no legal representation are provided through the Program. If you require advice for your specific situation, you may independently book a private consultation directly with a participating attorney outside of the Program. You are not being matched with or assigned to any attorney. You may choose whether to contact any attorney independently using their booking information.2. Not a Law Firm; Attorney Independence. Office Hours™ is not a law firm and does not provide legal services. Attorneys who participate are independent professionals solely responsible for any services they provide outside the Program. Office Hours™ does not control, supervise, guarantee, or share fees for any attorney’s professional services.3. Access; Fair Use. Access is “drop-in” during scheduled group sessions and may include ancillary educational materials and admin/resource support (non-legal). Capacity may be limited. To preserve fair access, Office Hours™ may restrict future reservations for members who repeatedly reserve and do not attend.4. Fees; Billing Cycles; Auto-Renewal.
(a) Recurring Plan (28-Day): The recurring plan bills every 28 days at the then-current rate (currently $19.99 per 28-day cycle), and auto-renews until canceled.
(b) Annual Plan (Prepaid 12 Months): Billed once at checkout for a 12-month term.
(c) Authorization: You authorize Office Hours™ (or its processor) to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel. You are responsible for keeping your payment method current. Failed payments may suspend access.
5. Cancellations; Effect of Cancellation.
(a) Recurring 28-Day Plan: Cancel anytime before the next renewal to avoid future charges. Access continues through the end of the then-current 28-day billing cycle and then terminates.
(b) Annual Plan: You may cancel at any time; refund rights (if any) are governed solely by Section 6.
6. Refunds.
(a) Recurring 28-Day Plan: All charges are non-refundable once a 28-day cycle begins. No partial-period refunds.
(b) Annual Plan – 60-Day Window; Proration Rule: Annual plans are eligible for a partial refund only if canceled within 60 days of the purchase date. The refund equals (Annual amount paid) minus (the number of “months used” × the Standard Periodic Rate).
“Standard Periodic Rate” = $19.99 per 28-day period.
“Month used” = any started 28-day period (i.e., any part of a 28-day period counts as a full period).
After 60 days, no refunds will be issued for the Annual Plan for any reason.
(c) Method: Refunds, when applicable, are issued to the original payment method, less any chargebacks, failed payment fees, or discounts actually applied.
7. No Guarantees. The Program makes no promise or guarantee of outcomes, results, court decisions, settlements, or any particular benefit.8. Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability. The Program is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Office Hours™ disclaims all warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Office Hours™ and its owners, affiliates, and personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility. In all events, the maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (i) $100 or (ii) the fees you paid during the 28-day cycle in which the claim arose.9. Modifications; Scheduling. Office Hours™ may modify sessions, schedules, features, and pricing. Material changes will be communicated via the Program site or email and apply on the next renewal. If you object, you may cancel; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.10. Prohibited Conduct. Do not request or rely upon case-specific legal advice during Office Hours.
